Using the ABCs of Constructive Conversation to Discuss Election Issues w/ Urban Rural Action

 

Jackets Vote,  a program of the Link Center, is inviting all students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community to join for ‘Using the ABCs of Constructive Conversation to Discuss Elections Issues’ facilitated by Urban Rural Action on Monday, October 12 from 5:30-7:30pm in the Yellowjacket Union Great Rooms.

 

This interactive workshop introduces participants to the ABCs of Constructive Conversation, a practical and accessible framework for engaging in meaningful dialogue across differing viewpoints. Through guided activities and discussion, participants will practice using the framework to explore perspectives on timely and potentially divisive issues while building skills for respectful communication, understanding, and civic engagement.

Free parking, beverages, and refreshments will be provided!

This event is part of UW-Superior’s Superior Dialogues series. Superior Dialogues is UW-Superior’s nonpartisan civil discourse and dialogue series that brings together students, faculty, staff, and community members to engage across differences and discuss complex issues constructively. Through workshops, speakers, facilitated conversations, and community events, participants build skills in respectful dialogue, free expression, viewpoint diversity, and civic engagement while strengthening understanding and connections across the community.
