LiveWell Nature Exploration: Intro to Mushroom Foraging

Location: Millennium Park3100 N 28th St, Superior, WI 

Join Ariel Bonkoski, mushroom identification expert, for a guided hike to explore the wondrous woods in search of mushrooms!

We will start with going over some basic mushroom information, talk about some mushrooms we might see and some hike guidelines. We will then embark through the woods to find and identify mushrooms! We will wrap up our adventure with some information on utilizing the mushrooms we have found. This event is free and everyone will receive a free copy of Ariel’s recently published book.

Recommended items to bring: comfortable weather appropriate hiking clothes/shoes (the trail is known to get a little muddy) and beverages. 

Optional items to bring: notepad/pen to take notes about the mushrooms we are finding, a camera, a basket/paper bag/mesh bag to carry mushrooms in, etc.

RSVP is not required. All ages are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
