Time: 5 – 7 p.m.

Location: Millennium Trail, 3100 N 28th St, Superior, WI

Join certificated herbalist Lara Fahnlander, studying under Master Herbalist Lise Wolff, Chanchal Cabrera, Jim McDonald, Rosemary Gladstar and more, who will introduce us to different herbal helpers. We will go for a walk and learn where and when to spot it, and characteristics that help identify it. After foraging, we’ll learn the plant’s herbal actions, what ailments to use it for, responsible harvesting, and making some medicine with the plant to take home.

There will be a follow-up activity scheduled in September for medicine making.

The walking will be on a flat trail and surface.
