OER Intensive Workshop

Tuesday, October 20th, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

 

The Markwood Center for Learning, Innovation & Collaboration (CLIC) is pleased to offer a newly redesigned Open Educational Resources (OER) Intensive Workshop this Fall Break for UW-Superior instructors! To prepare for this virtual workshop, participants must complete a four-hour, asynchronous OER Training in Canvas. The training will ask participants to choose an open textbook from their discipline in the Open Textbook Library (OTL) and submit a brief review of the text that will appear directly in this repository. During the virtual workshop on October 20th, participants will meet synchronously with the CLIC’s OER program facilitators to have a lively discussion about open education and participate in various activities. A $250 stipend is available to participants who complete all workshop requirements.
