Ashe Berton of Duluth, MN is a spirited sailor, mountain athlete, and
ecologist with a deep connection to the Great Lakes. Her journeys
span continents, notably marked by a trans-Atlantic passage in 2022
and a Pacific crossing from New Zealand to Japan in the winter of
2023-2024. Since then, she has been pursuing Arctic Sailing and
exploration, starting with sailing to ski in the fjords of northern
Norway, and most recently, by delving into navigating the waters of
Arctic Greenland. She is passionate about seeing how far you can
go by land and sea, driven by learning through experiencing different
cultures, and excited to share the beauty and significance of the
natural world through photography.
