The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will host top high school musicians from across the region for its Tri-State Jazz Fest on Thursday, Nov. 12.
The students will rehearse with Randy Lee, UW-Superior director of jazz studies, and Greg Kehl Moore, recently retired UW-Superior professor of music and former jazz program director.
The festival will conclude with a public performance at 5 p.m. in Manion Theater, featuring several big band jazz selections.
Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Manion Theater is located in the Holden Fine Arts Center, 1805 Catlin Ave., Superior.
