The University of Wisconsin-Superior has been recognized as one of Wisconsin’s top colleges, earning a place among the top 10 public and private institutions in the state in a recent ranking compiled by Stacker.
Using data from the education platform Niche, the ranking evaluated colleges and universities across Wisconsin on a variety of factors important to prospective students and families. Criteria included campus location, student population size, diversity, academic focus, study abroad opportunities and overall student experience.
The analysis also considered key performance indicators such as tuition costs, graduation rates, acceptance rates, student-to-faculty ratios and student reviews. Online-only institutions were excluded from the study.
UW-Superior posted an acceptance rate of 93% in the ranking, reflecting the university’s commitment to providing accessible, affordable and high-quality educational opportunities for students from Wisconsin and beyond.
Notably, UW-Superior was one of just five Universities of Wisconsin institutions to earn a place in the top 10, highlighting the university’s strong standing among both public and private colleges across the state.
“This recognition reflects what makes UW-Superior distinctive: a personalized, student-centered experience that empowers students to succeed academically, professionally and personally,” said Interim Chancellor Maria Cuzzo. “Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to student success, and we’re proud to see those efforts reflected in rankings that consider both educational quality and the overall student experience.”
