Program Overview
The marketing program at UW-Superior is one of the five concentration options for the business administration major and is also available as a minor. Marketers help businesses understand, analyze, and meet the needs of their consumers. Strategic planning and decision-making in business require knowledge of the competitive market and an understanding of consumer behavior. As a marketing student, you will combine creative problem-solving with research to execute a strategy.
Our curriculum has been developed by experienced faculty and in consultation with an advisory council composed of local business leaders who share their expertise and connections to identify and secure opportunities for students.
What You’ll Learn
Develop the creative, analytical and strategic skills needed to connect organizations with their audiences. You’ll learn how to understand consumer behavior, develop marketing strategies and use research to make informed business decisions.
You’ll gain practical skills in:

- Relationship marketing and sales
- Measuring and analyzing marketing performance

Through applied coursework, internships and experiential learning opportunities, you’ll gain real-world experience developing marketing solutions for businesses and organizations. You’ll also have the flexibility to customize your education through electives and complementary areas of study that align with your career goals.
