What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is a simple way to invest in the futures of UW-Superior students. It involves providing a future gift through your financial or estate plans. The UW-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation welcomes gifts made through a variety of planned giving arrangements. By naming the UW-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation as a beneficiary of one of your assets – such as your IRA or retirement plan, life insurance policy, bank account or donor advised fund – you ensure the success of future Yellowjackets. A charitable gift through your will or trust provides a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Establish a Legacy at UW-Superior
Individuals earn tax benefits by making an annual gift or by making provisions in their estate plans to benefit the UW-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation. Anyone can make a planned gift!
Depending on the gift arrangement you choose, you can:
- Feel secure about the future of your loved ones
- Maintain control of your assets for life
- Receive substantial tax benefits
- Give more than you ever thought possible
An experienced member of our staff would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about a planned gift that can help meet your financial and philanthropic goals. Please contact Jeanne Thompson, Vice Chancellor of University Advancement, at (715) 394-8598 or via email today to start a confidential conversation at no obligation.
