The Lake Superior Research Institute and City of Superior are sponsoring a free showing of Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong, a documentary about our country’s wastewater treatment systems and their vulnerability because of chronic underfunding and staffing shortages. Using a treatment plant in Portland. Maine, as a case study and a good deal of humor, the movie provides valuable insights about essential infrastructure and the potential for crisis.
